"Kim Baek-du participates in the traditional Korean wrestling sport of ssireum and is a member of the ssireum team for the Geosan County Office. Baek-du was born as the youngest son of a prestigious ssireum family. In the past, he was known as a genius like ssireum wrestler, but not anymore. He is thinking about retiring from the sport altogether. One day, Baek-du meets his childhood friend Oh Yu-kyung and has a turning point in his ssireum life. Yu-kyung and Baek-du grew up together in Geosan County. She begins to work as a leader of the management team for the ssireum team, which is on the verge of disbanding. This is the complete set of 12 episodes, each of which are about an hour long (between 59 and 67 minutes). They all have edited "soft" English captions; that is, English subtitles are part of the MKV file and the subtitles can be enabled or disabled as you wish.

I downloaded the source videos named like "Like.Flowers.in.Sand.S01E01.1080p.NF.WEB-DL.AAC2.0.H.264-Wendy [DRAMADAY.me].mkv" and obtained the English subtitles from subscene.com, user TteokbokkiSubs. Then I...
- Used Subtitle Edit (by Nikolaj Lynge Olsson) to find and fix all flagged issues
- Watched the series and italicized music lyrics, characters' thoughts, short flashbacks, and some off-screen dialogue; also color-coded some subtitles for clarity as appropriate, using yellow, teal, and salmon colors for signs, flashbacks, and written/printed material respectively
- Added 0.7 second to each subtitle (where possible) to allow more time to read them and adjusted words/minute to at least 280
- "Softened" all subtitled profanity (bastard --> jerk, damn --> darn, bitch --> witch etc.)
- Corrected commonly-found typos, converted many word pairs into common English contractions, brought together sentence fragments, and removed unnecessary translated words like "oh" and "ah", etc.
- Used Handbrake to create new MKV files using my subtitles, trimming off the monstrously-irritating Netflix logos from the start and end
