Intelligent systems are technologically advanced machines that perceive and respond to the world around them. Intelligent systems can take many forms like Natural Language Generation, Speech Recognition, Machine Learning Platforms, Virtual Agents, Decision Management, AI Optimized Hardware, and Deep Learning Platforms. Intelligent automation (IA) combines robotic process automation (RPA) with advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), analytics, optical character recognition (OCR), and intelligent character recognition (ICR). According to these intelligent systems of classification, there are four types of AI or AI-based systems: reactive machines, limited memory machines, theory of mind, and self-aware AI. Intelligence has been defined in many ways: the capacity for abstraction, logic, understanding, self-awareness, learning, emotional knowledge, reasoning, planning, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Intelligent document processing is the kind of technology that can automatically recognize and extract valuable data from diverse documents like scanned forms, PDF files, emails, etc. and transform it into the desired format.
