The JC Dragon Ball dub is a dub of the anime Dragon Ball Super, removing the original Japanese tracks and instead replacing them with carefully sourced FLAC files of the original Faulconer tracks from the North American dub of Dragon Ball Z from the 1990's and early 2000's. This dub also contains a mix of tracks sourced from various independent artists covering various Faulconer and Japanese Dragon Ball songs (please see attached credits). I realize this version may be controversial to some fans, and if you find yourself one of similar opinion, I would advise you to enjoy the original version instead. The purpose of this dub of Super is to provide an alternative version treated with nostalgia for the older Dragon Ball fan. You may also notice this version of Super is numbered only to 128 episodes rather than the original 131 episodes Super originally aired with. This is because 3 episodes (69, 73, & 74 of the original episode count) have been removed. Episode 69 is a non-canon crossover filler episode featuring the Dr. Slump character, Arale. Seeing as Dr. Slump is a manga / anime that has had limited exposure outside of Japan, it is virtually unknown to much of the North American audience. As this episode again, is non-canon, I question why it was ever dubbed in English in the first place, and as such, have removed it. Episodes 73 & 74 contain a non-canon filler two-part mini-arc revolving around Gohan and the Great Saiyaman movie. There is no other way to say this, but the episodes are of such poor quality, and are non-canon, containing nothing plot relevant in a season already heavily padded with numerous filler episodes, that I have decided to excise them completely. I also wish to clarify, though already implied by the credits text file, that I am not a musician, nor did I compose any of the tracks heard within. For non-commercial tracks, they have been sourced entirely from the online community. I believe in supporting individual artists, and have ensured to include credits for all music used with links to the contributing artists websites / channels. Please check these users out and help support artists! You may also notice that episodes 44, 45 & 46 contain dual audio tracks labeled both “Faulconer” and “Ocean". These episodes contain a special guest star in Brian Drummond, the original voice of Vegeta when Dragon Ball Z first aired in North America in the 1990’s and production of DBZ was first started at Ocean Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. As Funimation saw fit to place a nostalgic Easter egg in these episodes for fans, I saw fit to take it up another notch and sourced high quality copies of the original Ocean soundtrack and have produced an alternative soundtrack alongside the standard Faulconer one, hopefully making these 3 episodes a nostalgia bomb for some fans!
